Tele-Arena Enhanced Changelog

This "Enhanced" version of the game has been rebuilt from the ground up
using the same original gameplay and adding new features to spice things
up a bit. Included in this version is a dual-classing system that allows
promoted characters to combine their class with another to gain weaker
versions of the new classes abilities, a pure-class system which allows
a promoted character to stay down the path they are currently on and
gain a single unique skill as well as the ability to equip relic weapons,
and a hybrid-class system which allows them to play two newly added classes
which have theur own special abilities and traits.
Lots of new things have been added/revamped and i have documented each change
in this document.
RACES
-----
elves gain bonus damage to missile weapons that fire normal-damaging
projectile.
elves will never fail a spell or have any spell negated by a target's
magical defenses
elves can never be tracked or chased by any hostile monster.
elves gain an additional +1 mana per level and will regenerate lost mana
at 3x the normal rate.
creatures under the control of an elven controller gain an additional life
in the event it is killed.
dwarves gain bonus damage from all melee weapons.
dwarves heal for additional amounts from all single-target healing spells.
dwarves negate half of the physical damage from all traps.
dwarves gain 25% more gold in all treasure caches.
creatures under the control of a dwarven controller will gain an
additional attack each combat round.
gnomes will never miss a melee attack or have that attack dodged.
gnomes will cast all spells at only half the mana cost and they will also
become roundly much faster.
gnomes have a high chance to negate any single-target combat spell cast
upon them.
gnomes heal for twice the amount from all healing potions and have a chance
for the potion not to consume the use.
creatures under the control of a gnomish controller heal back a portion of
all damage dealt from their attacks.
humans gain an additional 4% experience for every weapon hit.
humans gain an additional 12% experience for every spell hit from
single-target combat spells.
humans are completely immune to all drain effects.
humans gain +10 to all promotion level stat caps.
creatures under the control of a human controller will never have an attack
miss, be dodged, or be deflected.
goblins recieve 10 second melee attack delays from attacking.
goblins have amplified single-target combat spells when cast in total
darkness which allows them to cast as if 2 levels higher and if the
spell results in a kill the delay will be reduced by 5 seconds.
goblins have a high chance to dodge normal attacks which is doubled if
they are alone in total darkness.
goblins can see in all forms of darkness and suffer no penalty.
creatures under the control of a goblin controller have a chance to deal
double damage and an even slighter chance to instantly kill the target.
half-ogres restrict any target from fleeing when they attack with a melee
weapon.
half-ogres have amplified spell effects when casting a single-target spell
on self
half-ogres receive +5 armor rating from any equipped armor.
half-ogres gain an additional +10 vitality per level and will regenerate
lost vitality at 6x the normal rate.
creatures under the control of a half-ogre controller will now have double
vitality and armor.
CLASSES
-------
warriors have a level 1 skill that allows their first attack against a
fully healed target to be unavoidable and hit for double damage.
warriors have a level 12 skill that allows them to charge at targets in
another room temporarily stunning them.
sorcerors have a level 1 skill that allows them to focus their mind and
restore all of their missing mana.
sorcerors have a level 12 skill that allows them to bind up to 12 locations
anywhere on the map which will allow them to teleport to these locations
at will.
acolytes have a level 1 skill that allows them to pray and restore all of
their missing mana.
acolytes have a level 12 skill that allows them to bestow a blessing upon
their equipped weapon which will allow it to now cause additional damage
based upon current knowledge stat.
rogues have had all their level 1 basic thieving skills combined into one
skillset called dungeoneering and added to that is the ability to sneak
around.
rogues have a level 12 skill that allows their first attack if dealt from
stealth to backstab the target which cannot miss or be dodged, and it will
ignore the target's armor and deal additional damage based upon current
agility.
hunters have had all their level 1 basic wilderness skill copmbined into
one skillset called survivalist and added to that is the ability to use
healing bandages to heal self or any tamed creature under their control.
hunters have a level 12 lonewolf skill that allows them to have augmented
abilities if they are traveling alone.
druids have a level 1 skill that allows them to invoke nature shields upon
themself which will give them enhanced defenses against certain damages
based upon the element invoked.
druids have a level 12 skill that allows them to control plantlife and gain
additional skills... a "vine" skill which can be cast on a target in another
room pulling it to them, a "fungal" skill that allows then to summon a
patch of spores that will damage all hostiles every 15 seconds for 60 seconds,
and a "flora" skill that will allow them to summon a patch of wild flowers
that will heal all friendly allies every 15 seconds for the next 60 seconds.
archers had their sight skill combined with the marksmanship skill which will
allow themn to have enhanced throwing weapons. darts will now inflict 1 poison
per hit, axes will cause the target to bleed every tick for low damage, and
spears will temporarily immobilize the target.
archers have a level 12 skill that allows them to have a high chance to deal
a skillful shot, a medium chance to deal a critical shot, and a low chance to
deal a lethal shot.
